Chanel 2.55 Patent Caviar Bag

The 2.55 was the very first bag designed by Chanel in February 1955. The name 2.55, therefore, represents the month and year of mark its creation

A Single flap bag crafted from patent caviar leather and gunmetal hardware.

Inside the bag has a zipped interior pocket for valuables. The chain drop is 39cm when single and can be worn as a shoulder bag, or as a crossbody.

The serial stocker is still attached inside and the number tells us this bag was made between 2005-2006. Made in France.

This bag is in overall good pre-owned condition, there are some minor marks to the hardware.

This bag comes with the original Chanel dust bag.
